on "Unsatisfactory Empire"
Brad Linaweaver will explain why
Robert A. Heinlein would have opposed today's GOP. He will use Heinlein's
short stories "If
This Goes On" and "Solution
Unsatisfactory," and the novel, The
Puppetmasters, to illustrate his thesis.
Special Guest M.C. for this evening
shall be McCall Jones III.
This is expected to be Brad's
last address to the club prior to his relocation to Florida later this
year.

Brad Linaweaver is one of the
original founders of the Karl Hess Club. He's a prolific writer,
probably best known for his Prometheus Award winning alternate history, Moon
of Ice. He's also a screenwriter and actor, and has recently
written an alternate history of the Spanish Civil War, Anarquia.
